Just thought I'd share some pics of my Honda GL1000 "Goldie". Nothing fancy, just my daily run around wherever I need to go bike. I don't think of it as "old" by any means as far as motorcycles go, being only a 1977. Maybe that's just showing my age? haha!
Anyways, Honda did not have any extras on these back then, and they were pretty plain. I added the bags(from a later GL1100), and picked up a windshield, extra lights, engine guard, and bumper here & there. The seat is an aftermarket that was already on it when I bought it.
It's never let me down & really enjoyable to ride. I've owned a lot of various makes & models of motorcycles over the years, and have to say, this one is my favorite. Barring of course, the truly old bikes of about the '30s or '40s on back, these are way to cool to compare with modern bikes.
    Thanks for looking!

My father used to have a full dress 83 aspencade. Boy that was a gorgeous bike. It was almost like sitting in a lazy boy while going down the road. I should have bought it from him.

They are nice riding. Probably my favorite of all that I've owned.
      Thanks nicktylermo!
