I have a Mosrite Serenade acoustic guitar. The SN is F0256. Does anyone know anything about this guitar? I know they were a Bakersfield company and are out of business. I understand that this acoustic Serenade model is pretty rare, but can't really find out anything about it. It was given to me from a family member who is now deceased. It is in very good playing condition.

I'd really appreciate any information I can get on this guitar. It is special to me because it was owned and played by my father who is deceased.

I recently acquired almost an identical guitar, even close to same serial number (F0213). I'm still trying to find information on it. I believe it was made only for a few years in the 1960's, but have been unable to find much regarding its value. It plays very will, with good tone and quality!

I have one, bought used in a St Pete FL shop in 1966 for $250. SN F0055. I fell in love with it: small, beautiful body, light weight, beautiful tone, extremely easy to play. Or it was. About 25 years ago, after living too long in the California and New Mexico deserts, the pickguard came off. Later the top began to cave in. I had it "professionally" repaired, but they did a mediocre job. It was playable, but not so nice as it was once. Last year I got it out to play and the bridge had cracked. Have not decided yet what to do with it. Will share pictures when I figure out how to upload them from my phone.
