My Dad left my husband his "Nixon" penny. I looked on Ebay.com to see if there were more available on that site and there were but they are different than ours. Ours has the Lincoln bust on it and looks like a real penny. The ones we saw on the site have the Nixon bust on them... So my question is: Why is this one different?

Oh, and the reason why the sub category said half penny because there was not really a choice there.
Melissa - I cant see in your pics where is the Nixon bust? But anyway there really should be a catagory for Lincoln "Cents" - Still don't understand why Americans refer to them as pennies since they have always been known as cents.
These are "Novelty" coins, depends on what company did the additional strike. I have a cent with Kennedy bust stamped next to Lincoln, I also have one made for the Bicentennial era with a Liberty Bell next to Lincoln. I have never seen a "Nixon" one. I will check ebay. There should also be a CW catagory for "Novelty" coins, maybe it will pop-up soon.
On the small cent coin it's a Lincoln bust and not a Nixon bust. I was referring to the ones I seen on ebay. I was trying to find one that looked like mine but didn't find any on ebay, I saw ones on their site that looked like Nixon busts on the front of the coins to me. And yes, I agree with you on the categories. I have never seen a Lincoln/Kennedy bust stamped coin till I saw it on coinquest.com. Those are really neat.
Yeah, these are all novelty coins stamped by various makers in the 1970's. There is a Nixon cent somewhere here on the CW sight. I saw it posted, I think by ARJason.
Correction, posted by MathiasR. There is also a Lincoln/Kennedy Cent posted. Go to the U.S. Coins section and click on Show & Tell. You will see both of them there.
Sorry AR - it was like 3 AM when I was on CW last night. You have zillions of things like me, and most of them are in a foot locker or drawers. You tend to lose track after a while.
