This is a faithful rendering of a Southern Song Dynasty ink and color on silk by Chinese painter Li Di. The original, painted in 1174, is now located in the National Palace Museum at Taipei.
It’s a woven panel, 17 x 19 inches, mounted as a 44 inch scroll with 16 seals embroidered in red silk. The title rells the whole story.

love it!! I put a painting on material, and for a long time I thought it was embroidery. Now I found a hallmark which I will add!
