    Found this awhile back and really liked the strong mid century lines. I've tried online searches with no luck. The bottom is marked Cravell NY

    Any help would be appreciated.

      I can help you with this. My grandfather Andrew Cravaritis was the designer of this piece and the owner of Cravell NY. He passed away in the late 1960's at the very young age of 66. He was a very talented man. I think I may have the original drawing of this piece.

      Yes it's exciting to see his work still out in the world and appreciated. I spent many hours as a little girl sitting on his knee and watching him draw his designs. I just purchased one of his sugar bowl and creamer set from someone on Etsy! :)

      Hi I just found a cravell it is a ice bucket silver, can you tell me if it is silverplated ? or silver or steel? I will post a picture in a few minutes

      Yes it is silver plate. Any of his designs that were silver were plated, not solid silver.
