Just found this a few weeks ago. Front has black leather. Knoll made one very simular with grass front. I am unable to identify maker and would love any information on this piece. I actually found a 3 drawer matching chest at separate sale months apart that piece does not have the leather front but exactly the same wood, drawer pulls, legs and skirt on bottom.

Wow! What a beautiful set! I'm surprised it isn't marked somewhere... You've examined every inch for marks?
Thanks Stefdesign, there are no markings/stamps in drawer....if I remember correctly there were just numbers stenciled on back. Mounted to wall due to all the earthquakes we have been having. The smaller chest I have too has no markings....looks like it may have had paper or cloth tag on inside drawer that came off though.
