Would anyone know anything about this sign? Number produced/rarity/value? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
What I do Know: Found this sign at a bar liquidation sale. It's only the second one I've ever seen (and that's after a 1/2 of a lifetime pub crawling in the upper midwest). Some type of brittle foam (poly styrene #6?) fronted with plastic flat letters glued to the foam. On both signs I've seen the 'i' and the 't' are darker/discolored vs. the other lettering. I can only speculate as to why.
It has a mfg sticker on the back of Oct. 8, 1992 and another union sticker from the famous Lakeside Ltd in Minneapolis, Mn. I've spent a lot of time in the last year scouring the net for anyything about it. My next step will be writing Lakeside directly. But I'm not looking forward to begging a p.r. flak for help.
