This is a chess table I had made about 30 years ago, with oak & black walnut inlay. The civil war chess pieces I bought about 15 years ago.
There is a drawer on one side to hold a checker set.
Thanks for looking,
Dave

exellent work Dave! I remember those pieces, you've done a great job showcasing them. I LOVE chess, have to play the computer every night, most people (around here) dont see the joy/challenge of the game.
Thanks mustangtony, mikielikessigns2, scandinavian-pieces & officialfuel for the appreciation.

pw-collector,
Your very welcome, I love a good game of chess.
So who wins more often, the North or the South?
collector4evr, it depends on what side my granddaughter has. I taught her how to play chess when she was 7 years old, now at 16, she cleans my clock.
