    This is a solid brass sandal and foot with POMPERA stamped on the side of the ankle. Not sure if it's spelled correctly, I can only see a portion of the letters. Anyone know what this is or the value? Somewhat of a void above the ankle for holding incense??

      How does this become an oil lamp? Any history of it's origin?

      Thanks for that... but tell me, was there a wick involved, or just a puddle of oil to burn.... and how old do you think this is?? Any value? Only paid $5.00 for it, so just mainly curious...
