It seems to be made of brass with lots of decorations on it and it also has some writing on bottom of ink well. There is no date anywhere. would like to know what time period and even what country or culture this would be from maybe even what it might be worth. I 've had it a long time and took me forever to figure out what it was. I bought it at a garage sale. It just looked so interesting and everyone i ask just does'nt seem to know much about the piece. Hoping you might shed some light on this for me.
