Tall Imperial vase with bold blue coil and wave decoration. Gold-orange interior. Imperial shape 418. 12 inches high.
p.s.-- Ernie A. of IMPERIALARTGLASS.COM says he has never seen this decoration before on an Imperial vase. So maybe it's unique.

Great snag Frank. I watched with interest.
really a striking vase! Can add from the Imperial Glass catalog that the shape is #418 and noted as blown lead glass, which IG called Lead Lustre Glass; unfortunately the catalogs were not produced in color. Each vase would be unique due to their process; "The decorations are not painted on, but created, by welding hot pieces of different colored glass on the body of the Vase." These were usually shipped in lots of 3 different shapes of 8 colors each for a total of 24 vases per barrel. Best guess from the description in the catalog is this one would be be decoration #21: Opal with blue fancy decoration, bright red inside only.
thanks Tall Cakes for the info.
I had this one pegged too. Good snag!
