Did the artist live near the sea?
What a beautiful collection!!!!!!!! One question--the wine decanter in the back==is that the stopper that came with it? I have a decanter just like that and ordered a stopper and it appears to be just like the one in yours. I am surprised becasue I figured the stoppers would have some plum color to them.
hi evelyn! the plum decanter does have its orginal stopper. these decanters in the plum color never had plum colored stoppers, but rather were always sold with a clear crystal hobnail stopper. thanks for your question!
Thnkas for your prompt reply to my question.

Just purchased a plum hobnail footed candy dish! But it has no lid.... off to find one!
I saw that on ebay today. Good luck ever finding a lid. They are next to impossible to find and if you ever do find one you will pay an arm and a leg for it. Good luck and thanks for your comment

No banana boat?
actually i do have the banana boat...somewhere...it is just boxed up sitting in the garage. i didnt have enough room to take a picture of every plum piece i have together. i will try to update it eventually. the carriage house which is connected to the garage has very limited room, especially counter room in the small little kitchen ...its like a small apartment...thats where i took this pic and many other of my pics was in the carriage house, instead of hauling all the pieces to the main house. i just moved and have not hauled many pieces to the basement yet. im still getting all the shelves, and display cabinets installed on all the walls. i will try to take of picture of all my pieces in the main house in the living room. there is much more room in there! thanks!
I recently aquired the plum hobnail heart shaped dish w/ handle. I cant find any info on it. Is it rare? I find it in the other colors but not plum. Do you have this one? Do you know the age of this one? Thanks!!!!
