I know this ring and pendant is Black Onyx & Diamond. It is 14kt gold. I presume it is over 100 years old, as I have a photo of my grandparents where my grandmother is wearing both pieces. How do I find out if it's Victorian, Retro, etc. . and/or what period it was made?

Any helpful websites I can go to that can help? People ask me all of the time how old it is, etc.

I have a very similar piece that belonged to my great, great grandmother (& possibly her mother). I'll post it on here...
