The Loetz Marmoriertes (Green Onyx) piece photographed here in the first three photos is, regrettably, not mine - I was the underbidder. I am including them here under fair use for educational purposes only - because they reveal an important piece of information; namely, Loetz decor Dek I/358. The piece on the far right in the last photo is mine, however, and it is in the same decor. So, the consolation prize for losing out on this magnificent and rare piece of Loetz marmoriertes is that I was able to identify the decor on my own (unmarked) piece. I also got to see another example, which is always cool! :)

Very nice example Warren!
Yes Warren ... nice piece ... although you did bid about 30 Euro more than I (or the other bidder) would have been happy with! ... it is hard to know how to price these ... 122 years old and pristine ...
Think it is the same decor as photo 8 (page 53) in Cantz ...
Did you win it, Steve?
Hi Warren ... yes ... must have overcommitted on the bid !
But it did look nice ... and had the id on the base ... do let me know if you get tired of your one ...
:-)
I LOVE THE ONE NEXT TO THE MALACHITE!
Hi Warren & Alfredo
Any thoughts on this being something a little removed from green onyx ... have a piece in green with white streaks which I have been thinking of as green onyx ... could move these toward Achat (Agate) ... depends on whether you replace the white or the brown in going from onyx to green onyx ... and these pieces seem to include pink as well ???
Is "green onyx" for real? I mean, does it exist in Nature? I'm doing a search right now.
This one is definitely green onyx - it matches precisely the piece shown in Cantz - could you post your other one, or email photos?
And it does exist in nature! Holy cow, I do not think i have ever seen it! Green onyx it is, like Yoda would say.

Although I am less definite it is Loetz ...
Steve,
Both the lots you posted links to are Loetz Malachit. I am ASTOUNDED that the garniture set went for such a pittance!!!! The piece in the first link is in the same decor as these two green onyx pieces - I/358.
Hi Warren
Thanks for looking ... is nice to know I do have some malachite pieces after all ...
