Picked this up today and am thinking about restoring it. Even though it is rusty, the main frame and parts are solid. Needs wheels and a seat and a lot of TLC.

Can anyone tell me dates and maker on this little trike? Haven't been able to find one just like it.

This is a late 1930s to early 1940s Garton tricycle. Here's a link to an old Garton ad showing one of these tricycle models. I believe they were made for at least a few years with slight variations in design and seat style. Just scroll down to the Garton ad: http://dorsetfinds.wordpress.com/2011/04/15/commander-in-chief-tricycle-ca-1940s/

    Hope that information helps!
