From my private collection of Magic posters comes this original broadside advertising "The Great Raymond" Magic show at the Hippodrome Theatre. Circa. 1919
"Raymond", born Maurice F. Saunders was one of the great touring illusionists of the early 20th century. He was known professionally as The Great Raymond and featured everything from escapes to large scale illusions in his shows.
This is one of the more rare "Raymond" broadsides and has been professionally linen backed to preserve what is left of it.
