My daughter found this book along with the German print book, this belonged to my great uncle Julius Brown, and inside the book we found a poem written by him. What a wonderful family treasure she found:)

You did some research Mr.AR8Jason:)
I uploaded an extra pic of my Great uncles name" Julius Brown" I wasn't the one who made the pencil mark.
What a great find!
I came across your posting while looking for scans from this book. There is a pdf online but the photos are impossible to make out, and the book itself is quite expensive. My great grandfather also served in the 331st (Battery B). It's a long shot, but perhaps your great uncle appears in one of the few photos from his military days in my albums here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151078897603073.451462.500483072&type=3 or here https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=65908868072&set=a.63679308072.63133.500483072&type=3
i'd be glad to send you hi-res scans if so!
Thanks carine but i was unable to view the photos.
Oops, I forgot to set the albums to "public" instead of "friends only". I've reset now, hopefully that will do the trick. There were only about 5 or 6 photos total, but you never know.
Thanks carine! What a wonderful family album you have:)
Thanks Petey and ttomtucker:)
