fenton-hob…
(124 items)
plum opalescent hobnail has to be my favorite color. one of my absolute most favorite items is the plum 3 piece fairy light seen in pic 2. this is a very rare and hard to find item and it is stunning with a battery operated candle. another interesting item is the blue hobnail perfume bottle on the right.

What a great collection how long have you been collecting?
i've been collecting for about 5 years now. thanks
thank you Savoychina and Malta760!
thank you junkmanjoe!
This collection is quite valuable. I hope you plan on keeping them as Fenton has decided to stop producing Art Glass. Check out their website on the internet.
Chipmonk, i wouldn't get rid of my collection for anything! i get the fenton newsletter and when i first heard they were closing i was shocked! its such a shame! thanks for your comment!
Do you think the closure will drive up the prices for the pieces or do you for see it dwindling the number of collector out there? For me it will definitely not deter my collecting, I only collect the vintage items anyways. I am thinking I want to pack every since piece that I have to save and pass on to my kids and grandchildren. Enough of my rambling.
i think the prices will continue to go up. fenton glass has been very popular...ever since the very beginning with "Poor man's Tiffany" aka carnival glass, people have collected and loved their glass. thats why they have lasted as long as they have. their most popular and loved pattern is the hobnail pattern and it has been popular since the 1940's when it first was produced. i say no matter what KEEP ON COLLECTING!!! i sure know i will continue to collect pieces for my collection.
