This is a sign that was in my grandparents basement they were part of a big german club in Fort Wayne Indiania from way back. In the basement they had two huge wood barrels of beer. an old piano, slot machine and a still in the woods. Unfortunatly all that gone now. Ive been thinking of giving it to my 21 year old nephew but was wondering if anyone might know its monetary value?

The label has an INTERNAL REVENUE TAX PAID statement on it,so it is pre 1951. It also features what they call a "steinie bottle" which were used in the late 30's into the 40's.I'd say this is in the 125-150 range for value. You could find a new label to glue on and greatly improve this sign!
