Amazingly stunning and extremely beautiful and rare large Hand Painted Kutani / Kaga ware 19th century vase. .
The vase is profusely decorated with coloured slips ( MORIAGI ) and painting . It features a landscape scene of a Teahouse by a lake .
I believe this vase was not made for export but for the home market. It is signed on the base.
Kaga Ware :- The name sometimes used for pottery made in the Kaga Province, modern day Ishikawa Prefecture, also known as Kutani Ware.
Size :- 16" Tall X 7½" diameter.
