Manikin
(314 items)
These little mannequin dolls were made by Latexture and this one has a Name Vivianne on box . Some of these had names others were just called Simplicity Latexture mannequins . Used to teach young girls to sew . This set came with just patterns for Nursing and sewing notions in box , My daughter sewed the dress and did a great job. mannequin is dressed as a Student Nurse .She is 12 1/2 " tall . This type of mannequin is the most common one found in market . By no means floods the market but she surfaces at least once a week . To get one in beautiful condition as this one with no crack. paint lifting and crazing is the one's that are sought after . Most have damage from poor storage as they did not hold up well and often have broken parts , many times it is head at neck or arm and legs with complete breaks . Being a Nurse I am partial to the nurse patterns :-)

Yes, this one is beautiful, saw some nice ones last week, at an auction, thought of you. The Patterns are as important as the manniquin itself, just like my drawings are to my mascots !~ the clothes are beautifully tailored.
Thank you Phil . I wish I had been at the auction you saw them at :-) My daughter did a great job as these are really hard to sew for in such a small size . I love the oh so 1940's look of these girls .
