1965
Per Lütken was a Danish glassmaker (1916–1998), most famous for his works at Holmegaard Glass Factory ("Holmegaard Glasværk" in Danish).[1]
Lütken has set his signature on the history of Danish glassmaking, designing more than 3,000 pieces of glass for Holmegaard, a company for whom he worked from 1942 and until his death in 1998.
Amongst the best known series created by him are "Ideelle", "Skibsglas", "No. 5", "Selandia" and "Charlotte Amalie", all of which are still selling at high prices throughout the World. They are all regarded as design icons, and are found in many Danish homes to this day.

HELLAS vase in Smoke (grey) colour... I guess this is 16 cm tall... around 6 inches?
Hellas is one of the very few Lütken series where cutting -in this case only the top rim- is present... he didn't like that because he thought glass pieces were to be completed at the furnace. He even developed techniques to avoid cutting the edges of stemware...
I have the other three Hellas vases -ne smaller, two taller- in light blue colour... I'll have to share them with you soon! ;)
yes please do i would love to see them , i bet they are very beautiful:) did you see the cobalt blue vase i had posted , im catching up up to speed and this one is on the table as well:)
