This clock was manufactured between 1928-1932. The case is made from a "Dura-silver Alloy" (Telechron Invention) with a black bakelite base, and a lighted dial with adjustable illumination. Height 5", width 4-1/4", Depth 3" and in great condition, no nicks or scratches on the non-tarnishing finish.

The base has to be removed to replace the light bulb which still works, the alarm would wake the dead. It does grind when running so the rotor is being replaced with a refurb which is on order.

This was Telechron's second big design hit after the Cathedral
The tag line from the advertisment for the clock read,

"The friendly glow of its illuminated dial--the dependability of its pleasant alarm; its uncanny accuracy--make this clock an outstanding value. A design that "fits" anywhere."

Pleasant Alarm?
