I came across a small thimble collection of six thimbles. I decided I would start a collection by taking these into my home and learning more about them.
If you can give me information (company? date? material? value?), I would love to label these so I can pass them down as heirlooms one day. Finding these has made me start shopping around for other vintage pieces - there is a such a variety and so much to learn!
THESE THIMBLES:
- have initials on back "RL" (maybe? it is cursive)
- etched patterns - one a snowflake and one is egyptian like king tut?
- being glass, they are hard to take pics of
All six thimbles are up for identification! Thanks in advance.
