I found this in an ally in Richmond, Va. I'm not sure the value, but I have never seen another sign like it and it is definitely a cool find for someone who collects Coca-Cola products, like myself. The entire sign is comprised of wood and stands roughly six feet tall. I would like to find out more about my sign, and would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Very cool !! Lots of Coke collectors on site...they will let you know what you have .
This was a marker designating the 1996 Olympic torch relay route. Very few have survived; either being discarded once the torch bearer passed the route or removed by souvenir hunters. Yours appears to be in pretty good condition. I'm not sure how to value this but because of the scarcity, I'd say at least a few hundred dollars, maybe more....depending who wants it. This is a Coca-Cola collectible as well as an Olympic collectible. Nice find. Probably some business decided to toss it out in that alley.
Thank you both! We were actually thinking it was from the 1996 Olympics as well, because we also found a bottle in our collection dating from the 1996 Olympics. We really appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us, it has been a mystery for some time now.
A real find there!
Thanks! We really love it.
