Picked up these two pieces- along with a 1915 Coca-Cola bottle, LIFE magazine and an antique kitchen scale- at a yard sale yesterday in Richmond. Another cool aspect about the Flying magazine cover-in the red frame-is that it has a stamp from The Smithsonian Library National Air Museum dating April 4, 1958. The walls in our new apartment are slowly being filled!
