Several weeks ago I posted several “Action” magazines I acquired in a box of items at a sale. They are from the mid 1970's and in newspaper format, originating in San Antonio.
I really did not go through them much until a week ago. Lo and behold what I found. Absolutely wonderful full page ads for “Lone Star” and “Pearl” beer with some of the great Texas music legends. A friend of mine who does custom framing out of old barn and fence wood did a great job of framing them for me. They are at an angle to avoid the dreaded “photo reflection.” My reflection superimposed over Willie or Gatemouth would be a sad deal.
