So I had this brilliant idea (get it? light bulb = brilliant) for repurposing old Coca-Cola bottles into hanging lamps. I went to my local glass shop and they cut off the bottom of an old Coke bottle (probably a rare one that I didn't even check.). Then I went to my local Home Depot, bought a Candelabra base socket with a 6 foot cord/plug plus a night light, inserted it inside the bottle. Now it's ready to be hung. I plan on hanging this above my outdoor Coca-Cola lounge bar area.
The last photo is another repurposed Coke bottle, made into a kitchen cooking spoon holder. Actually, that wasn't created by accident. During construction of our backyard Coca-Cola patio, I took a few Coke bottles to a local pottery kiln shop, and had them melted down flat, so I could sink them in my newly poured concrete patio. This one didn't quite melt flat, but made a great spoon holder.
I know, too much time on my hands and too many Coke bottles to experiment with.
