My wife inherited a pocket watch collection from her father and this is one of them that we were not able to find a value on. Most of the watches were old railroad watches that are pretty valuable. Any info on this watch would be greatly appreciated. Please contact me at fogtmanchris@yahoo.com or text/call 423-394-1070.... The info on the watch is ... Acier Garanti 11120 v90-18-43 adolf hitler, berlin germany

That is a puzzler as if it were German, it would say Deutschland instead of the Eng. version. Actually more Americanese as "Germany" isn't even used in european countries from my experience & I live with them. They recognize the word but rarely use it except when talking to Americans.

Not a real good engraving also. I just have my reserves about a prominate person in 1940's would have it done in that fashion.

I agree kerry, diff. not the quality they did, not even close! Good for a soldier in the field though. It could have some truth in fact, but without documentation it means nothing. It does make you stop & think though. Not gold but I'm sure A.H. didn't always carry gold watches. Probably some Fr. girl gave it to him with some story. Be interesting to know the story behind it. Even the simplest artifacts that pass thru our hands can have serious historical significance. A shame they can't talk.
