What did I find? These are so beautiful! They look Chinese to me. These look like sterling, but I will say silver to be safe. They are enameled, have a Koi hanging on each and at the top has a face of a dragon with a thing that looks like a door knocker. They have actual gems hanging at the bottom.
They are gorgeous.
Does anyone know any information on these. I got it in a batch that was from the 30s to early 50s.
I would appreciate help or direction to where I can find info. Thank you! Anita

Hello, yes in my opinion they are vintage Chinese, enamelled and gold plated (over silver).
I don't think they are gold plated, it's just the glare on the photo. These are sometimes low grade silver, way below sterling. Sometimes they are marked "silver" or China on the back. What do the backs look like? Screws or clips?
They are not marked. I am adding another picture of the back. I know they are very old. I received a large quantity of items in a jewelry box and I know they are all of the same era or so. I just don't know the names of these items.
That style of mesh and enamel was imported from China in 1920s -1930s (and later in 1970s -80s). Yours look like pendants made into earrings or perhaps, earrings converted into screwbacks at some point.
