This is one of the more frightening "hidden mother" images.
Image is a Real Photo PostCard (RPPC) with AZO stamp box that dates from about 1915.
The photographer has arranged a fur to hide the mother and has created the appearance of a large furred monster in the background.
I wonder if the mother was pleased with the outcome of the photograph?
