These are four different 1950 magazine advertisements for Capehart Home Entertainment Systems from the Capehart-Farnsworth Corp., Fort Wayne, Indiana. - The first ad is for the "Blackstone" 16-inch Television with Polatron picture in a mahogany-finished cabinet. Also shown is the "Chippendale" Phonograph-Radio (AM-FM) also in a fine mahogany cabinet. The second ad is for the Capehart "French Provincial" model Phonograph-Radio in a cherrywood and fruitwood cabinet. Also shown again is the "Chippendale" model and at the bottom the Capehart "Cambridge" model 16-inch Television. The third ad is for the Capehart "New Englander" style cabinet television and the fourth ad is again for the "Chippendale" Phonograph-Radio. Also available was a cabinet style called the "Futura". Capehart Corp., Fort Wayne, Indiana: Trade name Amperion. Founded 1927, went into bankrupty in march 1939 and was taken over by Farnsworth Television & Radio Corp. Farnsworth kept using the trade name Capehart for some products and even changed its name to Capehart-Farnsworth Television & Radio Corp.
