Gorgeous and soooo sad!!...I bet this was his best going out outfit too!, don't you just love the way they dressed the kids in those days, can you imagine trying to get one of them today in one of those outfits!!!....:-)

It was very sad, but typical of the time, Granny also raised her daughters two children. Then years later took in two more children that were orphaned.
It is a gorgeous photo, I especially love the ringlets.
