SOLITIARE
You only have one opponent when you play the game of Solitaire....
yourself....and it can be a most challenging match. Some say Solitaire Board Games are the European version of an American Indian puzzle or evolved from Pachisi of ancient India. Those romantically inclined believe it was invented by an imprisoned French nobleman, designed to fill the long, empty hours of solitude with stimulating diversion.
The Solitaire Board: The traditional English Solitaire Board is circular with 33 hollows which hold 33 marbles. A channel runs along the rim of the board to hold the marbles not in play.
Object of Play: To clear the board of all marbles so only one marble remains, either in the central hole or another hole determined by the player before game begins.
The Play:Place marbles in all hollows except the center hollow. Start playing from the center of the board by "jumping" one marble over an adjoining marble to any empty hole beyond. Marbles can be moved horizontally or vertically only, never diagonally. The marble that has been jumped over is removed from the board and placed in the channel along the rim. If desired, begin from another starting point by removing a marble from elsewhere on the board to make a starting space.
Winning: The game is won when only one marble remains in exactly the space predetermined at the beginning of play.

Thanks Manikin for the comments and appreciation.
I have only once completed the game with only one marble left and I didn't predetermine the space of the last marble. Pure Luck for me!
