An unexpected treasure, found at the local thrift shop. This Lightoiler copy of a Gino Sarfatti design is really amazing. It was clearly a loved lamp, it was filthy, sockets were replace as well as switched; spliced wire and rotted wires....lets just say you would want to turn it on while touching it. I completely rewired the lamp, and replaced all sockets. I gave everything a good clean rather then repaint and polish. It is a love worn piece, it is now gracing my livingroom!
