This is one mean looking Bird!!..He is my Ditmar Urbach Rooster Milk Pitcher 1930"s Czechoslovakia Hand Painted Pottery... 7 1/2" tall and 8" from beak to handle... and hes always mad!!.. and always catches the eye of visitors to my home and quite the unique conversation piece.. hes in great shape for his age all except for a paint flake as seen in pic # 3 which is quite easy to happen so i try to be a gentle as possible at bath time :) I love being a Czech collector.. they always brighten my day... the bold and bright colors they used in pottery and in glass.. and there's a whole line of different bird pitchers.. some are done in yellow black and red those are more sought after and way more pricey.. this mean old bird range's in the middle.. i hope you love him as much as i do.. thanks for looking :)
