Hi. The three ivory framed portraits are copies of works by Thomas Gainsborough (1727 - 1788). There is Blue Boy at top left; below him is Lady Georgina Cavendish re-worked and coloured and at bottom right is a similar re-working of Mrs Siddons.
The portrait of a woman at the top right is in the same subject and in the same frame as one here:

It is lot 138 and two lots beforehand is a similar frame and subject described as:
BULGARIAN PORTRAIT MINIATURE - Painting on porcelain; illegible stamp on reverse; ornate gilt frame with minor chips; H-7", VG-EX..

The paper backing on the Gainsborough copy is not German it is actually in Latin, I believe.

The label on the backing paper reads Mrs Siddons. Old paper with Latin writing cut out to fit the frame suggests to me the intention to make these look old. I really don't believe the Latin has anything to do with the subject Mrs Siddons. But I couldbe wrong.

Vetraio50 is dead on, I have seen People glue old letters, newspapers to back of these. It was just a thing back then, I have several old painting with odd old newspapers used as dust covers, smll one with old 19th century invoice lol.
