    The photo is not clear to give anything but some general comment.
    Try searching google images with
    Tapestry belgian, flemish, aubusson.
    "King -Carol tapestry belgian"
    Combinations like that.
    I get a feeling it might be Alexander the Great.
    But there is no chance to get any detail with this one photo.
    It is probably a nineteenth century copy of a seventeenth century original.

    What exactly is it? Looks like it's in a suitcase & then looks like tapestry.
    In cases like this we should have the options of "Love it", "Like it", "Undecided" & "What is it?".

    With the new images it looks to be "needlepoint". Check out the form of stitching:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Needlepoint
    Look up Berlin wool work too.
    It doesn't look modern, the backing is too fine.
