A little help with this one. Given to me by someone who collected caps, but he knew nothing of its history. I am guessing as it is blue, then American Airforce cap (or cover), possibly 1960's? It appears to have been presented to someone, as inside I can just make out writing....presented to...sadly the rest has faded, it would have been nice to know who it was presented to and why.

Definitely American officer's slouch visor cap, probably 1950's. A modernized version of the "crusher" cap worn in WW11.
