Must have been a "fantasy" world for so many! Early use of electricity used in conjunction with sealed glass and water!

Oh, am I correct in inferring that the item in Photo 1 above is a real painting? Wowie, these are wonderful!!!
The first two are paintings and the third is a 20x20 heavy cotton embroidery. Pretty amazing what society was able to accomplish during that era! Thank you
