In 1965, just three years after creating the first bottle for AGUA LAVANDA, Ricard made another design, this time inspired in the 1940s mulifaceted bottle. He limited this and created a triangle based bottle with a plastic cap. I cannot tell the success of this design, but it was not only to contain another product from PUIG, AGUA NOBLE, but was in use for 10 years.
In 1975 a new redesign was commissioned to Ricard and he created something more according to the times. Also, he used a shape that has become sort of his signature: the round angled square. Anyine studying his work can see that this shape appears in a lot of his designs (this 1975 bottle or the 1978 one for the VERTE and AZUR eau-de-colognes, the IBIZA light switchers, the ColaCao Vit box... or even the 1970 TOSSA ashtray).
As a kid I remember "falling in love" with this design. I treasured a 100 ml. bottle of AGUA LAVANDA for years, and can't remember how but it somehow vanished... I'd swear I never threw it away but cannot find it anywhere.
