I purchased 8 of these at a garage sale a few years ago. Although I sold them awhile ago, I just wanted to hear what everyone thinks about it. I recall the bottom of the seat being stamped MADE IN POLAND. It is obviously a Bentwood design. They came from a bar/resturant on Long Island from the 40's or 50's I was told. They were really nice. THanks!

They are really beautiful! then 8 is for a large number of chairs. I knew Thonet produced Wien in Austria.
