These are 1950 magazine advertisements for Kitchen Dinette Sets from three different manufacturers. The first ad is for Virginia House Dinettes, chrome furniture with five different color tones available, sold by thousands of dealers in all 48 states. The second ad is for Lloyd Chrome-plated furniture made by the Lloyd Manufacturing Company of Menominee, Michigan - a division since 1921 of the Heywood-Wakefield Furniture Company and makers of the famous "Rock-A-Feller" Chair. The third ad is for Howell Chromsteel Kitchen & Dinette Furniture, available with Formica or Plastex tabletops, made by Howell Manufacturers, St. Charles, Ill. (the first maker of chrome furniture).
