Here is my Ingersoll-Waterbury Watch
Jeweled movement
Serial no. 526963
Ingersoll Watch Co.
Made in U.S.A.
Engraved Design
Chromium Finish
Thanks for looking,
Dave

Jim,
Notice the similarity of this movement compared to your Foresters of America. The plate has one more screw, left of the serial number, that yours does not have, the regulator on yours is blued & yours is marked Robert H. Ingersoll & Bro. where mine is marked Ingersoll Watch Co.
I think the serial numbers on these are separate from the other Ingersoll watches.
I like yours a lot better !!!!

Dave,I believe the Waterbury is a seven(7) jewel movement. I'll check mine and see, mine is seven, here's the link, your photos are 100% compared to mine, lol

I enjoy seeing Ingersoll watches because the company also made a very primitive pre-1900 wood box camera. Later on, I'll the c.1897 Ingersoll Shure Shot Detective camera.

Very nice example of an Ingersoll. Don't find them with the original documents and in that shape very often. Thanks for sharing, seems you have quite a few nice watches to admire. I like the hamilton posted before this even more.
