I can only guess that this watch belonged to my grandfather but may go back to my great grandfather. I discovered it while going through my fathers belongings after he passed several years ago. At first, after 5 or 10 winds I thought it didn't work and wanted to get it fixed but I tried again and after one or two extra winds it took off! I've tried to research it but can't find anything defenite about the age of this watch. I think it was made between 1900 and 1940 but I could be way off. I hope everyone enjoys seeing a discovered relic from the past, I plan to pass it on to my nephew and hope he will pass it on from there. If anyone has any info they can give me about this watch it would be appreciated... My grandfather was a coal miner in the old days... I can picture him wearing this on Sunday to go to church.
