These are three 1950 magazine advertisements promoting Boltaflex all-plastic furniture coverings made by the Bolta Company, Lawrence, MA.
The Bolta Company made plastic covering material in different colors and designs and supplied numerous furniture makers.
The Bolta Company was a company that manufactured molded plastic products, plastic sheeting, and hard rubber products. It was located in the 1940s and 50s in Lawrence, Massachusetts. It started out as Bolta Rubber Company (1930). The Boltaflex trademark is currently owned since 1994 by the textile maker Omnova Services, Inc.
