Rindskopf Art Glass Vase Pepita Decor pinched and swirled base ca 1900-05... this vase arrived yesterday by the hair of it's teeth!!.. in my many years of buying glass i have never seen such horrible packing! this vase is quite large qand heavy.. 10 1/2" tall 6" at base.. the box was really no bigger than the vase.. i imediately had a "fit" just knowing there would be a mess inside.. thankfully and as i said, by the hair of it's teeth it survived the haul from Huntsville Alabama wraped and protected by Adult Diapers... new one's i should add...thankfully!.. no packing peanuts no bubblewrap just Adult Diapers.. i guess those were for me incase it had been broken.. :) because i would have you know what in my pants if such a disaster had occured.. but im happy as i can be, it's absolutely stunning! i cant stop looking at it.. this is my second Rindskopf and have a feeling ill need more :) its going for a soak there's what looks to be white paint flakes on it.. thanks for looking

Thank the glass gods! (Or your chosen deity) I am also amazed by this sort of "handling" which just begs for disaster. Hopefully you won't have to save the pampers for next time, but there's always another one out there. Oh well! Love the pepita! :)

Nice size. The one to snag now is that 11" papillon on brick red, that I think is on Ruby Lane or E-Bay. I lost the 9" size but found it in a 6".
