This is a 1950 magazine advertisement for Eaton's Fine Letter Paper manufactured by Eaton Paper Corporation, Pittsfield, Mass.
The Eaton Company was founded in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1893, and the name soon became synonymous with fine writing paper in the early 1900s. Eaton has since developed a long history of making fine paper and gained fame for creating Eaton’s Corrasable Bond, a brand of erasable typing paper widely used in the latter half of the 20th Century. The tradition continues today with Eaton’s line of affordable, environmentally friendly business papers that stand up to the rigorous demands of today’s office printers and copiers.
