Thanks bratjdd for the appreciation.
also check the alarm clock & wristwatch categories.

I believe this to be a "Frankenwatch" Dave. The case appears to be the 1972 Bradley Mickey with a Agnew put in. I don't ever remember a pendent style Agnew, might be wrong, I'll research, but leaning towards my earlier feelings. Kerry
Thanks Kerry for the appreciation. I will go with your evaluation because I haven't a clue.
Dave
I've checked all my reference material and haven't found a listing for this. I did find the watch face on a wristwatch, upon comparision, the "I" in his hat can been seen fully on the wristwatch, and yours appears to be partly hidden. Still I love this piece and thanks for sharing. Someone out in "Cyber" world might have one of these with some early documention as to their origin if that is the fact.
That's a fun piece no matter... Love it! I met him once. I was working as a security guard for a condo building in Ocean City MD called the English Towers. Mr Agnew owned a unit there. I was coming out of the lobby one night and he was walking straight at me across the parking lot. I said "Good evening Mr. Agnew!" He grunted something and kept on walking... I'll always treasure that moment...lol...
Great story toolate2.
Dave
I agree, great story toolate2, "He grunted"LOL
Kerry,
With the movement and dial out, the "I" or the top part of the I can be seen as this hat covers up the lower part of the "I".
Dave
By the way, Thanks Kevin & toolate2 for the appreciation.
Dave
Kerry, the inside of case is marked:
BASIS WATCH SWISS
BASE METAL SWISS
The movement is also marked:
SWISS
BASIS WATCH CO.
Z.Z.
Dave
Might be correct, Again You've posted some I've never seen before (ex. Phinney-Walker Minnie). I'll try to find some more info, either way, I love it.Makes the mind work and I like a challenge to my fading memory.
There is at least one more out there Dave. Found one that sold on ebay in 2007 and is listed on the "Worthpoint" site. Again, it's a new one on me.
Thanks Kerry. I can't even remember how long I have had mine.
Dave
(I'm putting a wrist watch up for to to identify)
Dave, while your posting it, I've put up the wristwatch version of this one.
Here is the link to Kerry's wristwatch version.

I still have this watch minus the band. Not working but it's a piece of history I lived through. (says base metal Swiss made)
