had a brain fart yesterday and could not remember the proper term of these types of items -- the squirrel finally got the wheel turn over so here it is
more commonly known as samovar or tea urns -- i know i have seen one very similar to yours and it was around $3500 -- searched ebay it wasn't there -- i believe that one was uranium glass -- anyway here is a website to get you started on your research in regards to just what a samovar is -- good luck

I have been on this one for several days now at the request of Epson233. I have looked at what must be thousands and thousands of images and still nothing! But like epson mentioned, do not give up. There has to be information somewhere since there was a patent applied for. And just to give you a little incentive check out this link, it is not your coffee urn but something I found interesting and thought you might be ammused with as well. (Chuckle) Easy now Lundy...Sometimes information takes a while to come up with. I know what you mean though. I have more than a few peices of glass that have drove me nutts for years and I know nothing more now than I did when I purchased it...Im sure that something will come along eventually. What have you tried so far when looking for research? Sometimes the local libraries are a great source. Also the people who sold it can be a wealth of information. I always try to get as much background information as I can when I buy something. They don't always know mind you but that is the best place to start since it is the last owner who had possession. I hope something I have said here helps, and try to be patient. I am still looking (no luck still) and I'm sure others are as well, this just might be a tough one and will take a while...Keep your head up!
